Do you feel lost, confused, and unsure of yourself? Have you been asking yourself, “Who am I?” If you are questioning your values, your path in life, or your gender identity, you may be experiencing an identity crisis.
Identity crises can be difficult, but you don't have to go through them alone. Therapy can provide you with a safe and supportive space to explore your thoughts and feelings, develop healthy coping mechanisms, and build self-esteem.
I am a licensed therapist with over 10 years of experience working with adults who are struggling with issues related to identity, self-worth, sense of purpose, and relationships. My approach to therapy is LGBTQIA+ affirming, culturally sensitive, and trauma-informed. I use a variety of evidence-based practices to help my clients, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT).
I specialize in working with adults who have experienced trauma, chronic stress, depression, or anxiety. I am passionate about working with transgender and nonbinary adults seeking a space for emotional healing and coping where they feel safe, celebrated, and supported.
In therapy, we can work together to:
-Explore your identity and gender expression
-Identify your strengths and values
-Develop healthy and fulfilling relationships
-Process your experiences and heal from trauma
-Build confidence and resilience
If you are struggling with an identity crisis, contact me today to start your journey to healing and self-discovery. I would be happy to discuss your needs and goals and see if I am a good fit for you.
